London based jazz musician and film composer Chase Emery Davis releases his first Dance single “Live Forever”. It’s a track that’s guaranteed to be hitting the clubs of Ibiza in no time. Fun, emotional and full of life, it will make you want to move and groove along to it, especially when that beat drops in the chorus.
Chase says “Even though I have mostly written love songs, ballads, latin pop and rap, I love the club scene and listen to EDM practically all the time”. Why did it take so long to start writing EDM to which he replies “I think I was just waiting for the right time to come into the scene, as a classical trained musician I love bringing my musicality into Electronic music, which is something I hope people are really going to love!”.
This is an impressive first track. Chase is going places. It’s the kind of piece you want to hear on a beach with the sun in your hair and an ice cold drink in your hand. It’s appropriately titled “Live Forever” as when it ends you might just wish it would “play forever”. The perfect blend of mellow and energetic with some strong beats and smooth bass that plays comfortably in a club, bar or yacht.
Can’t wait to hear more from Chase. When asked if he has any more EDM in the works he simply says “Definitely! I am exploring what EDM means to me and what I want my listeners to get out of it. Dance is something we share, it’s something almost primitive, which is why I find it so exciting!”
