• Release Date: 2 June 2021
Babylon EP is a call to arms focused on uplifting messages of empowerment and overcoming darkness. Queen of Babylon was the first single to be released this year exploring the elation of finding new love and passion after emerging from the ruins of heartbreak. Dana dedicated Love Syndrome to her domestic violence awareness campaign in March that received the attention of national Belgian newspapers as well as a few American podcasts.
The next single in line for April is Coat of Arms about the smell of revolution in the air right now and how we’re heading for a new beginning, a change of leadership that is young and bold, ready to fight the old customs that no longer have a place in today’s world.
With the release of the EP on 2 June the focus will shift to Don’t Love You Anymore: an acoustic song written from past experience about that awkward conversation when you’re fed up and want to break up with someone, but they won’t let you go.
Dana’s discography is available on all digital music platforms.
Dana, whilst born in Belgium, was raised in Greece, surrounded by mythology and stories of gods and goddesses. Inspired by fearless heroines like Athena, Hera & Aphrodite, Dana channels this Warrior spirit into her music, exploring the boundaries between tribal rhythms and cinematic power pop with an epic edge.
Dana is passionate about encouraging people to unveil their inner Warrior by changing how they perceive themselves. She has made it her mission to uplift and empower fans across the globe by creating a world through music, performance and community, where people can connect and express their ideas freely and where society’s archaic ideals are no longer the norm.
“Inside each of us there is a powerful force caged by culture, tradition and outdated teachings that suppress our best qualities and cripple our true creativity. Fight for your right to be yourself! ALWAYS!“
Dana is also the host of her own podcast called “Unboxing Women” where she explores why women in the music business are marginalised and discusses the gender gap with her co-host and special guests.
