Alternative music artist ROJS returns with his sophomore single ‘Stockholm’ to captivate listeners.

‘Stockholm’ is taken from his forthcoming debut album, Inner Lights, set to release this summer. ROJS has been working on this particular track for some time. He began writing some of the lyrics and instrumentation for the track in a hotel room in Sydney. It was one of the first tunes that showed potential for him. It was completed after his previous relationship turned sour. They had a lot of unresolved issues and frequent arguments, but he felt that he could not leave the relationship. It was long-distance, and many of the lyrics were written on his nightly train rides home. He was fortunate to have saved enough money saved to record part of the song during his first time in London at Abbey Road Studios. Since then, he has changed the song quite a bit. The lyrics were finalized on a plane ride to Los Angeles. That was his first time there, so to make it memorable, he rented a studio at The Village, where the final vocals were recorded.

On the song, ROJS comments, “Stockholm is about being stuck in a bad relationship that is kind of abusive but you are too drawn towards it to give up on it.”
