Grizzly Feeder, the brainchild of Joshua Clark, a writer, filmmaker, cannibal, humanitarian, alligator hunter, and gold miner, was born under the midnight sun. ‘God Size’, their latest single, is a little more pop than their other songs; think Lana del Rey meets Deftones.

‘God Size’ immerses you with melancholic, powerful compositions with strong female vocals filled with thunder and love. With its menacing riffs, powerful choruses, and seductive bass hooks, the tune embodies the spirit of contemporary rock music.

Grizzly Feeder slid a broken beer bottleneck up and down a guitar to create a surfer rock riff. Then they smashed a coffee can filled with loose coins into a banjo case for the percussion. Upon that foundation, they built a song with twenty-seven other instruments, one that swells, teases, and subsides, until at last exploding in catharsis.

This captivating narrative infuses the track with authenticity and resonance, making it a compelling listen for fans of alt-rock, alternative metal, dream pop, and everything in between. Grizzly Feeder showcases that they can effortlessly traverse genres, and this track does so in style. ‘God Size’ invites listeners on a musical voyage driven by love and conquest, destruction and rebirth.

On the release, Grizzly Feeder says, “To fall in love is to journey into the landscape of someone else’s heart, often a beautiful and terrifying foreign land. ‘God Size’ cries from the perspective of that new world, as it seduces its conquistador, leads him into its heart, destroys him, and at last, cradles him as he is reborn into it.”
