The multi-talented American-Ukrainian singer-songwriter Kailaya returns with the release of her next single ‘Sweet Remedy’.

With her jazz-infused guitar and powerful vocals, Kailaya brings her own soulful, retro R&B style. Driven by her creative exploration of new sounds and desire to establish a stronger connection with her audience, she is eager to share this new record with her listeners.

Working with producer Aubren Elaine and guitarist Adam Belloto, the addictive electric guitar adds to the seductive and moody electronic production alongside Kailaya’s strong vocals and pitch tones to achieve an intense and passionate record.

‘Sweet Remedy’ incorporates a dark and steamy alternative and R&B-infused vibe. Kailaya invited some bandmates over to jam in her bedroom studio once she got back from Chicago. She showed them her ideas on a verse and pre-chorus, and they got into a flow. By the end of the night, she had the five of them in the room all jamming together to a finished song. Kailaya and her producer, Aubren, took the initiative lyrically and melodically while everyone supported them, creating bass lines, riffs, and guitar solos. It all came together quickly when everyone was invested. Then, she went into her studio, her producer’s bedroom, and they began to bring the track to life.

Musicians such as Snoh Aalegra, KIRBY, James Vickery, Al Green, Jaz Karis, Lauren Jauregui, and Amy Winehouse are among the artists whom Kailaya draws inspiration from.

On the release, Kailaya says, “‘Sweet Remedy’ is a true story that all started one night in Chicago at a bar named Remedy (of course). It is a story of a chance encounter that reminded me of the serendipity of life.”
