Praise for KILLY:

"KILLY's Ascent to the Top of Rap Is a Matter of Perfect Timing" - Vice

"Armed with an addictive flow and an unmistakable sense of style, Toronto artist KILLY is just getting started" - Billboard

"Canadian winters are alienating. Brutal cold sends everyone inside, relationships deteriorate, and sunless days bring into sharp focus the routine that shapes our day-to-day. That separation is what I hear listening to KILLY, a 20 year old rapper from Toronto and one of the city's most buzzed-about talents. His release schedule is like a polar vortex – infrequent, but memorable each time." - The FADER

"KILLY Is the Fresh-to-Death Rapper Taking Toronto by Storm" - Highsnobiety

"The Toronto rapper’s debut shows off his ridiculously catchy melodies and distinct persona" - Pitchfork

"KILLY season continues, with no end in sight." - CBC

[NOVEMBER 1, 2019 - NEW YORK, NY] – With the help of a rapid grassroots fanbase drawn to his cutting-edge aesthetic and earworm hooks, multi-faceted artist KILLY is Canada's most exciting rap riser. Bringing his mutated and melodic strain of trap music to a new level, KILLY shares "Triple Helix," his new single.

Produced by WorkingOnDying collective member OogieMane (Drake's "I'm Upset", Lil Uzi Vert's "That's a Rack" and "Sanguine Paradise") and 16yrold (Sheck Wes's "Mo Bamba", Playboi Carti's "I Promise You"), "Triple Helix" is a futuristic flexer's anthem, complete with reverberating keyboards, wavy synthesizers, and a slight reggae feel in the percussion.

Rocking a motor-mouthed flow and tossing out otherworldly ad-libs, "Triple Helix" finds the Toronto rapper rhyming with a confidence that earned a positive reaction from Drake when KILLY dropped a sneak peek at the track on Instagram:

"Can't fear man, but I might fear God/Got the whole world all in my palm/Stand on the Benz make me feel so tall/In high demand, I got what you want."

After a year in which he earned multiple JUNO Awards nominations, shared his Light Path 8 project, signed to Epic Records, toured with NAV in North America, headlined his own European tour, and performed at Lollapalooza and Rolling Loud New York, "Triple Helix" heralds an even brighter future for the 22-year-old rapper of Bajan-Filipino descent.

The rapper finishes up a run of performances as a supporting act for Young Thug and Machine Gun Kelly in Denver on November 5th. Stay tuned for much more from KILLY before 2019 comes to a close.

ABOUT KILLY

After bursting onto the scene with his disruptive single “Killamonjaro” in 2017, the Toronto-born artist of Bajan-Filipino descent KILLY has quickly become one of music’s most exciting artists to watch.

On the heels of the hit, his debut project Surrender Your Soul dropped in 2018 via his Secret Sound Club label, giving KILLY's growing fanbase a taste of his unique knack for melody, fully-immersive creative vision, and personal lyrics that speak to the highs and lows of his journey.

His reach has continued to grow steadily: by the end of 2018, he’d attained almost 200 million listens on Spotify alone, and brought his music to audiences across the globe on his “Surrender Your Soul” World Tour. Capping off a break-out year, KILLY released a five-track EP entitled KILLSTREAK, received three 2019 JUNO Award nominations and garnered two Platinum-certified singles.

As of today, the budding superstar has accumulated more than 800 million streams across all platforms globally and is Toronto’s biggest rap export since Drake.

With his recent signing to Epic Records, KILLY is set to blaze thru 2020, focused on realizing his vision, extending his global reach, and becoming an icon for the new era.
