Fresh from supporting All Saints, currently supporting Boyzone, and about to embark on a national school’s tour to promote Children’s Mental Health Week, young talent LUENA ready’s to release her stunning breakout single ‘Worth It’ on February 15th.

Following her performances supporting Boyzone and All Saints, talented Singer-Songwriter LUENA returns on the 15th of February to release her much anticipated debut single ‘Worth It’. February will also see LUENA take to the road on a national School’s Tour which aims to educate teens and adolescents on Mental Health and bullying issues to coincide with Children’s Mental Health Week.

Starting simply with a laidback guitar riff and synth melody, the track is quickly taken up a gear with the introduction of LUENA’s commanding and yet relaxed vocals. She has a remarkable vocal range for an artist of her age, and the musicality and tone of the track showcases her talents as an artist and a performer.

The track is about being in a relationship and knowing that, regardless of any fights, that your partner will always be ‘worth it’. It’s a song about loyalty and constancy and the understanding that commitment isn’t always easy.

“‘Worth It’ is a pop anthem that’s full of energy’ said LUENA when asked about her new track. ‘It’s about enduring the pain of love because you feel like it’s truly worth it’, a sentiment that the track perfectly encapsulates.

LUENA took up singing as a form of escapism from the negativity that she received as a young teen, and quickly discovered that it was something she wanted to take seriously. As her confidence grew, so did the support and attention from those surrounding her and she quickly began to receive extensive vocal training.

In 2016, Vocal Coach to the stars CeCe Sammy, who had been working with LUENA for some time, encouraged her to take on the role of a TV judge, an experience that paved the way for many more opportunities.

Before long, LUENA had opened for Steps on their UK tour and performed at Fusion Festival alongside Shawn Mendez and David Guetta. She is now on tour with Boyzone showing the nation the kind of performer that she really is, and Cee Lo Green has also expressed an interest in working with her since hearing her voice.

So what can we expect next from this rising star? Well, with the national School’s Tour kicking off this week and whispers of new music already on the horizon, it’s safe to say that 2019 is set to be a very exciting year for this young singer-songwriter.
