'Go Greta' is a tribute to Greta Thunberg. Sunstroke Rain has been following Greta from her first protests, sitting outside the Parliament in Stockholm.

Sunstroke Rain was afraid there’s too much stupidity and deafness of the many witless in powerful positions, pursuing their own interests at the expense of others. She wanted to encourage Greta to go on despite the attacks on her, so Sunstroke Rain wrote 'Go Greta'. As the subject matter is heavy, she wanted to introduce lightness and feelings of hope, reflected in it’s danceability through music.

With a mix of electronic dance music, playful melodies, magnetic synths and right-on-the-nose lyrics, Sunstroke Rain is a captivating voice rising from the scandi pop landscape, both genrebending and hyper modern. Karin Turesson (anagram of Sunstroke Rain) has played earlier with artists such as Nina Persson (Cardigans) Tingsek, Robyn etc. She now performs her own songs backed up by Olivia Lyne and Lisa Frisk, creating sophisticated Art-pop where the sounds and structure are meticulously worked out. The music is performed on three keyboards, three mics, backing tracks and a big bottom end filled with swampish heavy and gurgly Moog bass
