'Lucky Dollar City' is about burning the candle at both ends and not being sure if one can pull it all off this time around. It’s a cry for help and wake up call after feeling spread too thin from always trying to put everyone else first and how destructive it can be if you start to neglect your own needs.

Adam James is from New York, he has been playing, writing, and recording music with different projects for years. First official release dark g back to 2006. He decided to start recording and releasing music under his own name in the last couple years.

The video for 'Lucky Dollar City' was filmed during quarantine with Joseph Crawford. As things continued to get worse, they went digging through old footage from family and friends to turn this song into a time capsule and tribute to how far he has come as a musician from New York as he subsequently said goodbye to Brooklyn.
