"All Cash, No Love" provides a glimpse into the life of a shop worker who must deal with the abuse and confrontation that comes with dealing with people. It is an ode to unappreciated workers, trying to keep their heads above water. Musically, the track brings with it a contrasting energetic and melancholic sound, depicting the chaos that comes with a life serving the public.

A self-taught multi-instrumentalist, the Dublin native looks to create a transportive and organic sound inspired by the stagnation and uncertainty that comes with his experiences of early adulthood.

Performing under the stage name of Jakliu, Jack Lewins takes a wide range of influences from the likes of Thom Yorke, Aphex Twin and Dan Snaith (Caribou, Daphni). Through the use of frenzied drones, glitchy drum machines and smooth luscious pads, 2021 will see Jakliu unfold a substantial body of work. Much of the work will explore themes of loneliness, isolation and the struggles that come with being creative in a country where music and art are dying a slow death.
