The score features performances by Ro Rowan (cello), Emily Lenck (violin), and Phil Popham (oboe). Shaun Chasin has been recording music with Ro since they were at Berklee together, almost ten years ago. he met both Emily and Phil out here in LA.

Because of Covid, the whole recording landscape of 2020 was sort of turned on its head. Shaun normally prefer to have musicians come into his studio to record but this simply wasn't possible this time. Everyone recorded remotely and it all worked out extremely well!

This was such a fun project to work on. The score features a lot of throwback elements to the Jerry Goldsmith epic/inspirational sports movie scores of the 1990s. Normally directors shy away from more over the top melodic orchestra in modern movies but since this whole project had such clear 90s sports movie vibes.
