French born – Australian raised multi-instrumentalist Flo Chase is ready to take the US by a storm with his full-length debut, Toi. After leaving his home, family, and friends to follow his dreams of making it in the music industry, Chase’s life calling has culminated in an ambitious 12-song offering, co-produced by Flo Chase himself. Currently based in Los Angeles, Chase has used the experience of moving halfway across the world and assimilating into a new culture to create some of his most emotionally driven work to date.

Chase’s connection to music began at seven after learning to play piano. This passion became even more important after, at age 12, he moved to Australia from New Caledonia without knowing a word of English. Music became his way to communicate with his new surroundings, providing the comfort and familiarity he had left behind. Chase’s ability to perform only grew from there, starting with vocal training and expanding into musical composition studies and self-taught skills on a variety of instruments including drums, banjo, harmonica, bass and ukulele.

With the struggle of getting to the US behind him, Chase can finally call Los Angeles home and is ready to release his debut full length album. Recorded at Barking Owl Sound in Santa Monica, Toi features 12 emotionally driven tracks that reflect his experience of leaving everything behind to start fresh and embrace the unknown.

To record Toi, Chase enlisted the help of good friend and co-producer Houston Fry as well as his older brother Theo, who played a large part assisting with production and offering creative feedback on each track. Toi was mixed by Kolton Lee (Kaleo, Foy Vance, Shania Twain, Niall Horan) and was mastered by GRAMMY Award winner Joe Laporta (Shawn Mendes, David Bowie, Foo Fighters, The Weeknd).
