OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE

Skyler Reed

Skyler Reed wanted to get personal with you all! She wrote this song last year when she was faced with the thought of losing someone special to her. In that moment so many thoughts ran through her mind. So many possibilities. From that experience "Don't Disappear" was birthed, and it is now available on all major streaming platforms.

During the time she created this piece of music, she was dabbling in composing more, so she charted out a few chords. Later, she crossed paths with the talented songwriter and producer, Jessica Lloyce, who naturally took what she had to another level lyrically and musically. Her previous band member, John Scherer, produced the guitar part, and most recently drum production was added to the record by PMGRNT. The emotional song was mixed by Anthony Majors. This record was a journey in itself to create, and Skyler is beyond excited to be able to share something so meaningful to her.

This is just the second installment from the upcoming EP "Are We There Yet," which will be released at the top of 2021. Each month Skyler Reed is releasing new music with a diverse sound, and most of the songs have some degree of live instrumentation. The project will most definitely showcase her range in style, tone, and vocal ability. Stay tuned for more!
