James Morrison and Imelda May to headline new Irish music festival - GrooveAnnouncing Groove! Summer 2013 music festival.
Groove is a brand new music festival taking place on July 6th & 7th 2013. The festival is set in the stunning Killruddery Estate between Bray and Greystones, right on the doorstep of Dublin city. It aims to be a hassle free festival with an impressive line-up across soul, funk, roots, R&B and rock & roll. Groove music festival is brought to you by Cable Music.
Main stage headliners With the picturesque backdrop of the Wicklow Mountains and Killruddery House plus its stunning gardens, the Main Stage at Groove will offer the one of the most spectacular concert settings in the country. Over the weekend there will be 30+ acts performing across the festival but to kick off we can announce the following headline acts.
Saturday 6th July 2013 - James Morrison supported by Soul II Soul Sound System (further line up to follow)- James' first two albums have combined sales of over 4.5million copies! Previously James has sold out Dublin's O2 along with three nights at The Olympia Theatre. His third album "The Awakening" was released in 2012. Supporting James at Groove will be Jazzie B and the Soul II Soul Sound System.
Sunday 7th July 2013 - Imelda May supported by Damien Dempsey (further line up to follow)- her only concert in the eastern region for summer 2013! Without doubt Imelda is Ireland's sweetheart, her album "Mayhem" has been certified triple platinum in Ireland. Imelda will be supported by fellow Dubliner, Damien Dempsey, whose latest album "Almighty Love", hit the Top 3 in the Irish album charts in 2012.

So what is different about Groove?
Getting There DART: Bray Dart station is less than 3km away and there will be a fleet of shuttle buses running all day with a return shuttle ticket only €3. The festival ends at 10.30pm, to cater for this Irish Rail have put on a special northbound Groove DART at 12.05am.
Car: Killruddery Estate is just off the N11 at Exit 7, just a few minutes outside of Dublin between Bray and Greystones. There will be two fully paved and attended car parks just outside the Estate. Parking is free, but Groove's charitable partner VSO will be running these, so we are politely asking for €3 for the day for a good cause.

Taxis: There will be taxis available at the main gate at the end of the concert.
Tickets Tickets are available by clicking here and priced at only €59 for a day ticket and €99 for a weekend pass (with €1 per order if you need it posted) and that’s the total price – no hidden booking fees. You can get them on-line, plus through any of the tickets.ie retail outlets.
Each adult is allowed to bring one child under 12 for free. All children under 12 need to be registered in advance, full details are on the website. These tickets are limited so early registration will be essential. Those between aged between 12-18yrs must purchase a ticket and be accompanied by an adult, proof of ID may be required both at the gate and the bar.
