Katy Perry's "Witness" tops U.S. Billboard 200 Chart

Katy Perry's "Witness" has entered the Billboard's 200 Chart straight in at No.1. This means that she has had three No.1 albums in the US. The other albums being "Prism" in 2013 and "Teenage Dream" (2010).

"Witness" was released on June 9 and sold 180,000 copies in that first week, 162,000 of those being pure album sales.

The record has the highest opening in the US for a female since "Joanne" by Lady Gaga last year (2016).

In the UK, the album entered at No.6 in the Official Albums Chart with just over 16,000 sales.

Three singles (see below) have been released from "Witness". They are "Swish Swish" ft. Nicki Minaj, "Chained to the Rhythm" ft. Skip Marley, and "Bon Appetit" ft. Migos
