“… A doozy - an enjoyable foray into a rapidly broadening world of creativity.” – Clash Magazine

After international success with their first single ‘Enough’, Arliston are back with ‘Language of Strangers’. The London based band consists of George Hasbury (Keys, Guitar, Bass and Backing Vocals), Jordi Bosch (Drums, Synth & Backing Vocals) and Jack Ratcliffe (Guitar & Lead Vocals) and are about to embark on their first run of live shows this coming summer.

The title ‘Language of Strangers’ refers to when you first see your ex after a break-up. The pet name is gone, and all the intimacy has evaporated, the language itself feels so formal and forced - much more formal even than the language of a friend; It’s back to the language of strangers. Trickled with metaphors and melancholy, we find ourselves left with a surprising glimpse of hope and humility. With clear influences from The National and Radiohead – Arliston complement each lyric with carefully constructed melody and musicality.
