Paolo Nutini postpones second Glasgow date

Paolo Nutini has postponed another gig due to illness.

The singer-songwriter pulled last night's (October 27) date at the Hydro arena in Glasgow with just hours to spare due to "severe tonsillitis".

Nutini has now postponed his second gig in the city, which was due to take place tonight (October 28).

A post on his official website reads: "Following the decision to postpone tonight's show at the SSE Hydro Arena in Glasgow, and following medical advice, Paolo Nutini must also postpone the show tomorrow night in Glasgow (Tuesday 28th Oct). Paolo has been diagnosed with severe tonsillitis and is regrettably not able to perform.

"Customers are advised to retain their tickets and await further information with regard to a rescheduled date which will be planned and announced as quickly as possible.

"We wish to sincerely apologise to all ticket holders for the inconvenience and disappointment this has caused. We thank you for your patience and understanding."

Nutini's next scheduled date is a concert at London's O2 Arena on Thursday (October 30).
