Weezer have confirmed plans to release a new album

The US rock group will unleash a self-titled record - also known as 'The White Album' - on April 1.

They have also released the new track 'King of the World', which comes with a video.

Weezer will promote the album with four launch shows, with the first taking place at Brooklyn's Warsaw on March 30.

They will then play the Manchester Academy on April 3 before heading to London's O2 Brixton Academy two days later.

The special gig series will end at the Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam on April 8.

Weezer have also announced a number of North America tour dates with Panic at the Disco. Check out the full itinerary below:
