Olly Murs backs Tulisa for X Factor

Chart-topping Olly Murs has given his opinion on who he thinks would be perfect as a judge on the forthcoming series of X Factor.

He revealed that his first choice, aside from himself, would be N-Dubz's Tulisa and told the Daily Star:

"Tulisa would do a good job. I’ve met her and she could fill his boots easily because she’s honest and young."

26-year-old Murs thinks her youth makes her more than suitable for the role because she would be able to relate to both the audience and contestants:

“The younger audiences would connect with her because they can relate to her and she speaks her mind.”

If Tulisa doesn't get the job, the 'Busy' star, who rose to fame after finishing second in the show's sixth series, wouldn't mind stepping in:

"I love the X Factor. I’d go back any time they wanted me."

“I would love to be a judge myself one day – maybe when I’ve had a bit more solo success.”
