Britney Spears has finally released the long-awaited video for her new single, 'Criminal'. 

This video sparked controversy back in September as she filmed it in the Stoke Newington area of London just after the riots and was seen holding up a grocery store at gunpoint, which subsequently saw her slammed for promoting gun violence in England's capital.

Earlier this morning, October 18, she took to social networking site Twitter and announced the release of 'Criminal':

"Ladies & gents, I'm excited to present to you the video for one of my favorite songs off of Femme Fatale.  Enjoy."
