Will.i.Am reveals '#willpower' collaboration names, says the album will embody diversity

Black Eyed Peas hitmaker Will.i.Am has opened up about his forthcoming new album and revealed that he managed to secure some high profile collaborations for the cut.

In a new interview with Billboard.com, the 'Boom Boom Pow' star and The Voice judge explained that '#willpower' is "finished four times over" and it may not include some of his recent solo material such as 'Check It Out' and 'T.H.E. (The Hardest Ever)':

"I just always want to put out songs. They don't necessarily have to be part of an album. Those are just songs to let people know along the way what I'm working on. That's me having an audio, musical conversation with the public."

Will.i.Am also admitted to working on between 200-300 songs for the album and he has ensured all of the approved tracks are incredibly diverse:

"There's classical s***, like just me and a guitar and an orchestra or me with just an orchestra and a kid's choir. There's some ghetto, ugly, dirty stuff. And then there's dance stuff, global world stuff and, like, avant garde, left-of-center, for-art's-sake music that has nothing to do with getting played on the radio. I'm just art-ing out. It's pretty diverse."

He even confirmed that '#willpower' will feature duets with the likes of Justin Bieber, LMFAO and Ne-Yo.
