Justin Bieber hints at Ed Sheeran acoustic collaboration

Speculation has emerged that Justin Bieber could be working with Ed Sheeran on acoustic material after a series of suggestive tweets.

As previously reported, Bieber recently revealed that is recording reworked acoustic versions of his songs and that he plans to release an album of the tracks in January.

Bieber's manager Scooter Braun and Ed Sheeran have been spending time together in the recording studio and the pair exchanged tweets.

Braun tweeted: "Not gonna lie. There is magic in the studio tonight. Truly honored to be here. Now back to the jokes."

It seems they were joined by an all-star cast of musicians, including One Direction's Niall Horan, with singer Tori Kelly adding: "Crazy studio hangs tonight...#innit @edsheeran @AlfredoFlores @scooterbraun @NiallOfficial @UsherRaymondIV."

However, Justin Bieber set tongues wagging by tweeting simply that he was in a studio too. The Canadian said: "Studio. #acoustic."
