Olly Murs won't release new album this year

'Troublemaker' hitmaker Olly Murs insists he won't be releasing a new album this year as he wants to "showcase" the tracks on his current album.

The British singer has unveiled three studio albums over the last three years, but has explained he's not in a rush to start recording new material.

Instead, Murs plans on pushing his latest chart offering 'Right Place Right Time'.

Speaking to Digital Spy, Murs revealed: "I've released a new album every year, but we're definitely not going to be able to squeeze one in this year. So there will be more singles to come from this album and we really want to showcase the qualities on it.

He added: "There will be a couple more in the next year because we've got so many exciting things coming up."

Murs plans to unveil new music in 2014 though.

He continued: "Oh yeah for sure - I wouldn't leave it too long. It's just this year there is so much going on. This album is the best I've done, so it needs to breathe and for people to hear it. I've got a lot of travelling to do because I want to crack all the international markets."
