'Lego House' superstar Ed Sheeran has revealed that he gave Adele's baby son a gift, albeit in a rather indirect way.

During an interview with New Zealand's Dominion Post, the singer-songwriter explained that a while back he was dressed as a pirate complete with a parrot on his shoulder, but bumped into British vocalist Adele who decided to take the toy for her new baby:

"Adele nicked my parrot. I was dressed up as a pirate and I had a parrot on me and she nicked it for her kid."

Meanwhile, Sheeran took to his official Twitter page earlier today (March 8) to tell his fans that he was lucky enough to meet acclaimed movie director Peter Jackson and even shared a photo of them (shown below) posing together:

"Today has been one of the coolest days of my career so far. Geeked out something fierce with @stuartcamp."
