Black Eyed Peas hitmaker Will.i.Am has revealed that he was watching the 2013 BRIT Awards with teen sensation Justin Bieber when they wrote their new collaborative single, 'That Power'.

The track premiered earlier today (March 15) on Capital FM and the 'Boom Boom Pow' superstar explained that it was born from a 'chilled day' of watching the music awards ceremony and clothes shopping:

"We recorded that during the BRITs [and] recording that at Metropolis. So actually we went shopping first and we were like ,'Hey, lets just have a chilled day' and we went shopping for shoes, then after that we went to the studio, watched the BRITs, recorded that and then trucked off to see Justin Timberlake perform. So that was a pretty full day!"

'That Power' will be featured on Will.i.Am's forthcoming new album, '#willpower', which he recently confirmed is set to be released next month. He also shared the single's official artwork this afternoon via his Twitter page (shown below).
