Blonde songstress Mollie King has recalled an entertaining but slightly embarrassing incident where her grandfather missheard a request for 'cheese strings' and bought her 'G-string' underwear.

Speaking to Pop Justice, the 'Higher' hitmaker explained that the mishap took place in a supermarket with her sister and it has been a funny story to tell ever since:

"I have a funny story about Cheese Strings. So my grandparents were looking after me and my sisters when we were younger and they went out to the supermarket and were like, 'OK girls, is there anything that you guys want for the fridge', and my sister was like 'Cheese Strings'."

"So my granddad, off he walks to Waitrose […] and he came back with these G-strings and we were like, 'Oh my god, we can't believe granddad has bought us G-strings! This is so embarrassing. I was starving as well, so he wasn't in the good books, poor granddad."
