Julian Marley, Alexx Antaeus, and Melo El Melodico Unleash "The Tide is High (Pentagono Remix)" Video from the Grammy-Nominated Album "Colors Of Royal

In the heart of reggae's rich legacy, Julian Marley, Alexx Antaeus, and Dominican artist Melo El Melodico collaborate to bring forth the dynamic "The Tide is High (Pentagono Remix)" featured on the Grammy-nominated album "Colors Of Royal." This reggae fusion masterpiece, produced by Antaeus, Norris Webb, and CH Produciendo, is a testament to the diverse musical influences that shape the vibrant landscape of the Caribbean and beyond.

The remix, produced by Antaeus, Third World keyboard player Norris Webb, and Dominican reggaeton producer CH Produciendo, brings a fresh and vibrant perspective to the iconic track. Recorded at CH Produciendo's studio in Santo Domingo and mixed at Antaeus' Contrackz Music in The Bronx, NY, the remix was mastered by Grammy®-winning engineer Alex Psaroudakis.

"The Tide is High (Pentagono Remix)" video, set to premiere on Wednesday, December 27, promises a visual spectacle directed by Damaniac Visualz from Jamaica and Lenin Estrella from the Dominican Republic. A love story and a celebration, the video encapsulates the infectious energy and spirit of the song.

Originally a reggae hit by John Holt and The Paragons, "The Tide is High" achieved global success with the 1980 Blondie version, reaching No. 1 worldwide. The song's enduring lyrics, "The tide is high but I'm holding on” and "I'm not the kinda man who gives up just like that,” resonate as both a love anthem and a declaration of determination.

Julian Marley, sharing his enthusiasm for the remix video, remarked, "I am excited to release 'The Tide is High' remix video. It was a great vibe collaborating with our Dominican brothers Melo and CH, as well as Third World keyboardist Norris Webb. I think the video definitely captures the energy and spirit of the song."

"'The Tide is High' and the rest of the album is all about artistic freedom and exploration,” Julian continued. “We wanted to create something that was both true to reggae music and also pushed the envelope, and I think we’ve achieved that with 'Colors of Royal.' It’s a journey through sound and color."

Alexx Antaeus, reflecting on the project, shared, "This project has been about Julian’s immense talent, meeting a fresh production. We brought Julian into new musical territories, incorporating Reggae, Dancehall, Reggaeton, and Afrobeats, and it paid off. We worked hard, we explored fresh approaches to Reggae, and we were rewarded with a Grammy nomination."
