Spinning ferociously off the back of his debut year in ’17 (debut single and album released), UK singer/songwriter McGoozer stampeded into 2018 like a musical firecracker; wowing audiences on both sides of the Pond with his live tour of the US and Europe, notably his support dates for the legendary, Tony Hadley. Added to this, McGoozer was chosen as the anthem for World Voice Day 2018. Now, due to phenomenal public demand during those live performances, McGoozer bows to public reaction and announces the release of his follow-up album, ‘Songs From The Mirror Deluxe’; an embellished edition of his debut offering, released on 19 October. Plus, McGoozer will be hosting a headline tour across the UK this autumn, kicking off 16 October.

‘Songs From The Mirror Deluxe’ is a bumper-edition of the original, delivering x3 bonus tracks, hand-picked personally by McGoo A culmination of songs drawn from McGoozer’s sparkling and vivid career, ‘Songs From The Mirror Deluxe’ is a collection of tales from around the world, fused in one musical nomadic storybook. Injecting his signature positive McGoozer vibe throughout a sound-bed of enticing melodies and blow-away vocals, his sound is one that will inevitably leave you contented to the core.

Fans can rightfully expect to find some of their McGoozer favourites within this collection including the singles ‘One and Only Girl’, ‘Stand Up’ and ‘Falling Out of Love’. The poignant additions to the deluxe album are McGoo’s personal selection of tracks, which have received unprecedented response during his live performances. ‘Don’t Go’, the first of the bonus tracks, will become McGoo’s next single (simultaneously released alongside the album in October). McGoo explains: “ ‘Don’t Go’ was planned for my next album, but crowd reaction on the recent live tours gave us no choice but to put it straight to the front of the queue and add it to a special edition of the current album. After returning from my recent US tour, I went straight into the studio to deliver a recorded version of this track. It has been a favourite of mine, and many of my fans for a long time and it just seemed like the time was right to give it the priority it deserves.”
The other bonus tracks are ‘Hurricane’ and ‘No One Left To Blame’. Both are taken from two different recording sessions that McGoo conducted between Nashville and the UK, “As the rest of the songs on the album are basically a cross section of my entire musical life, I thought these fitted in perfectly,” McGoo comments.

The deluxe album was recorded between London, Nashville, New York and The Maldives. The Nashville sessions allowed McGoo to with serious industry heavyweights like double Grammy winning writer/producer Gary Nicholson. Grammy winning engineer, Randy Kohrs and Ivor Novello winning writer/producer Graeme Pleeth. The New York sessions introduced McGoo to Loren Toolajian and the team at Sandblast Studios, who produce and compose music for major TV and film projects for HBO, Showtime and various US networks. The UK recordings took place in studios all over London like Metropolis Studios, Premises Studios and Renegade Studios run by one of McGoo’s friends and co-writers, Fred Abbott, of Noah and The Whale fame. And the Maldives…..well that was just damn good fun!

Glaswegian, Paul McGee (aka McGoo), grew up surrounded by musicians, so it was no surprise when the teenager’s first musical job took him around the world to tour with ‘The Official Tribute To The Blues Brothers’, which ran for over 3 years. McGoo also recorded and toured with Mike and the Mechanics, singing on their studio album ‘Rewired’, performing to festivals and stadiums of over 70 thousand people at a time, including being the opening act for Phil Collins’ world tour.

In 2015, McGoo signed a management deal with Shipwright Productions, headed by Steve Shippee, previously the CEO of Broadway Video. McGoo’s nomadic lifestyle had exposed him to a world of influences and the batch of material, which he brought to his deal was the result of his many musical adventures. McGoo’s single ‘Falling Out of Love’ boasts over 500k YouTube hits and shot to No3 in the Uk ITunes Charts, whilst his debut EP garnered attention from Yamaha as they instantly signed him to the brand’s first ever pioneering live web sessions.

The music of McGoozer is immediately relatable and speaks from the heart and for the heart. McGoozer’s voice will make your soul smile. Enjoy this deluxe edition!
