’12 Limbs are ready for world domination’ - RGM
The unique 3-piece Russian band, who first landed on our shores a year ago with their distinctive fusion of indie/rock, announce the release of their first official single since the start of lockdown; ‘Memoirs’ (out 20 November), is 12 Limb’s warning about standing strong during this pandemic. Throughout the isolating months,1 2 Limbs entertained fans by releasing new, original new songs each month, navigating social distancing rules to find ways to deliver music and videos. Now, the band are back with their strongest single to date, and a debut album on the horizon for 2021.
Written during lockdown. ‘Memoirs’, kicks back against the time we’re losing in our lives, as we navigate our way around the ‘new normal’ of social distancing. The rock music genre depends on live performance interaction, in order to survive, but the pandemic has forced 12 Limbs, and artists like them, into internet-underground as their only touch point with fans. ‘Memoirs’ depicts how we’ll be void of memories in the future if we succumb to the fear of total isolation. With raw and uncompromising lead vocals from Ben Levit , chiselling their way around gritty, full bodied instrumentals, ‘Memoirs’ is the fight-back song that many of us have been waiting for.
Ben: Lead vocalist/keyboards Art: Guitarist/base player Roman: Drummer
‘Memoirs’ is honest and earthy – a bold statement that 12 Limbs are ready to stand-up and be counted!
The single, ‘Memoirs’ is released on Right Track/Universal on 20 November
