As her teen charisma bounds from the pages of the latest issue of global, Her Magazine, Sir Elton John stating that she’s ‘brilliant’, and the ink still drying on her newly signed Ambassador deal with Yamaha Music London (making her the first ever ambassador for the brand), Amber T unveils her sensational look and sound in the form of new single, ‘Get Me’, released 13 August on Right Track/Universal. At just 17-years-old, Amber is fast becoming one of the UK’s hottest rising indie stars, with a string of live festival dates confirmed for the summer supporting the likes of Sophie Ellis Bextor and Toploader.

‘Get Me’, is another brilliant indie/pop offering from Amber, this time seeing our 17-year-old home-grown singer/songwriter embrace on a more rocky edge; as her distinct vocals reveal a grittier tone over a soundbed of bold guitar riffs. Written by Amber and Recorded at RYP studios with Producer Michael Smith and mastered by ‘Hippy’ Baldwin at Metropolis Studios.

Short, but sweeter than most, Amber’s musical CV glitters in spectacular fashion. 2020 saw the release of her-self penned songs ‘Jigsaw’ and ‘No Company’, with Jigsaw boasting over 165,000 Spotify streams and ‘No Company’ hot on its heels with over 115,000 streams. Both were Track of the Day on BBC Introducing The South, and received great radio and press support. ‘No Company’ even grabbed the attention of Sir Elton John who added it to his Rocket Hour show commenting, “Sixteen year old Amber T - how brilliant is she”. Amber followed these singles with her first 2021 release ‘Shaken’, a co-write over zoom with friends Galaxy Thief during lockdown. The song was featured on Record Of The Day and played 6 times across the BBC Introducing Platform and numerous other stations across the UK including College Radio adding up to over 1000 plays.

In March Amber performed for Yamaha Music London’s International Women’s Day and has since been chosen to be a Music Ambassador for Yamaha Music London. As the youngest Ambassadors she continues to represent young female artists in the music Industry where ever possible.

She follows a carefully curated line of illustrious and exciting female artists from around the World, Celeste, Billie Eilish, Kelela, Snoh Aalegra, Softest Hard, Alison Mosshart, Aimyon, Zsela. Self-taught on guitar/keyboards, Amber began performing from the age of 8 at Local open Mics, and was song-writing by the age of 13. Aged just 15 she co-wrote her debut song ‘Tick Tock’ with legendary Music Producer Dr Zeus and was interviewed on BBC Radio 1 and BBC South East News. The music video received 1.5 million views on youtube within hours of release. Having clocked-up over 200 live gigs including a sell-out headline show for Teenage Cancer Trust, Amber has just confirmed live performances for 2021at various UK festivals supporting the likes of Scouting For Girls, Sophie Ellis Bexter and Toploader.
