Exactly one week to go, and as the Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival prepares to open its doors for the twentieth time, organisers announce that they’re looking forward to their best year ever, as ticket sales exceed those of 2022. Launched in 2004, Belladrum has always stuck to its roots as the only festival created for everyone from ages 1-100, and as a result has seen year-on-year growth for two decades. With an enviable line-up that’s bursting with a diverse and eclectic array of some of the best musical talent from home grown heroes to international stars, this year’s Belladrum headlines with Travis, Bastille, Sigrid, Sam Ryder and many many more; for what promises to be the best year in the festival’s history.

“It’s a tough time for the nation, but Belladrum is gearing up for its best year ever as our ticket sales have just exceeded that of 2022” comments show organiser Dougie Brown. “We’ve always stuck to our roots of being a ‘festival for all’, and we think it’s that unique offering that’s contributed to our longevity. Ticket numbers are up on last year, and we’re bracing ourselves for one of the best festivals that Scotland’s ever had.”

With the cream of music artists hand-picked especially for the Belladrum crowd, this year Travis bring tracks from their new album ‘The Invisible Band’ to the stage, Bastille celebrate the 10th anniversary of their Bad Blood album, and with over 1million albums sold, Sigrid steps on stage at Belladrum for one of her few UK live dates of 2023. Throw in the likes of Gary Kemp’s ‘Back To The 80s’, Hollywood Legend Kiefer Sutherland , KT Tunstall, Sam Ryder and Peat & Diesel (to name a few), and you begin to realise the mind blowing eclectic music menu that pulling diverse crowds from far and wide.

“The musical talent this year is probably more diverse than we’ve ever known,” says Dougie. “We carefully curate the biggest and best range of talents to suit everyone that comes to our festival, to ensure that there’s something to entertain all ages at any moment across the entire festival. Our aim is to bring absolute unfettered joy to our guests, and I’m literally bursting with excitement for Belladrum to open its doors next Thursday. There is still time to join us, this will be a festival that will make memories for life.”

Homegrown in the Highlands, and nestled away in the beautiful landscape on the Belladrum estate, the Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival is one of the most gorgeous festivals that Scotland has to offer.
