Mel Incarnate shares her lead single, "Big Tits" (premiered via PopWrapped), a Slayyyter-esque hyperpop banger exploring body dysphoria, wanting to her body to match her mind, suicidal ideation, and then finally a release of emotion and celebration.

Tranic Attack, the first EP from self-titled "tranny pop-star" Mel Incarnate is the first exposure the world has to the mind inside the demon. Throughout her life, Mel has struggled with alcoholism, drug addiction, OCD and gender dysphoria. Her mind has been a playground for friends like depression, anxiety and dissociation. Through sobriety and transitioning, Mel has found a light source, one that takes her from darkness and pain, to happiness and celebration. Producer Jack Hoffman (BAD the Band) would listen to Mel’s vision, the noises and colors she would describe in the head, and do his best to match those ideas. Mel would literally say “grrr grrr gaahhrrr” to describe a certain sound, and together they would find a match.

In Tranic Attack, Mel comes to terms with her mental illness, illustrated through popular themes and synths to create a fantasy of herself as being evil, not liked, unhappy with her body, or just plain horny. Focusing on dance music and hyper pop sounds, she wishes to create a place where the listener can celebrate through relating to her struggles, while also feeling like a bad bitch. Mel wrote all of the lyrics, while co-writer Tor Miller would take to the piano to crate a melody and edit the original hook.

About

Mel Incarnate Bio:
Meet Mel Incarnate - a self-titled “tranny pop-star” working to get “big tits to match (her) ass.” Mel channels her pain into music as she navigates sobriety, early stages of transition, abuse trauma in Alabama, using horror inspired lyrics and synths to help unfold her brain into melody. With vengeance out for her abusers, she mesmerizes audiences with her no-holds-barred performance style and lyrics. Mel can’t help but own all of her shame through honesty, humor and a touch of chaos. At the height of COVID-19 in New York City, writing collaborator Tor Miller (@tormillermusic) and producer Jack Hoffman (BAD the band) worked to ignite Mel’s vision and created her universe in early 2021. This summer, Mel plans on covering queer nightlife hotspots like Rosemont Night Club and 3 Dollar Bill with performances in anticipation of her EP release.
