Covid-safe shows from Midge Are, The Dualers and more announced for Jan & Feb @ London PalladiumTHE DUALERS,THE HOUSE & GARAGE ORCHESTRA, HAWKWIND, MIDGE URE - JANUARY 29TH – FEBRUARY 3RDOFFICIAL PRESS RELEASENEWS PROVIDED BY Wilful Publicity The newly formed Europa Concerts, headed up by renowned concert promoter Mike Jones, are proud to present a series of socially distanced live events at the magnificent London Palladium. The first four artists to be announced on the bill are Midge Ure, The Dualers, Hawkwind and The House & Garage Orchestra. Tickets are available here. The London Palladium have successfully put on a series of Covid-safe events this year, making this newly announced series of concerts the perfect setting to wash away the winter blues and to enjoy the start of 2021. With more artists to be announced very soon, starting the proceedings are: THE DUALERS – JANUARY 29TH The Duallers comment: “After the nightmare that was 2020, we cannot wait to start 2021 with a bang! We are incredibly excited to be playing the London Palladium on 29th Jan for a very special, and socially distanced, show. Bring it on 🔥” Tickets start from £26.50 and can be purchased here. THE HOUSE & GARAGE ORCHESTRA – JANUARY 30TH The House & Garage Orchestra say: “After a difficult 2020 for the entertainment industry we are absolutely delighted to have been asked to perform at the prestigious London Palladium on 30th January 2021. We’ll be spending the next lockdown creating a stunning new show for you, we can't wait to see you there!" Tickets start from £22.50 and can be purchased here. HAWKWIND ‘ARRIVAL IN DYSTOPIA’ – FEBRUARY 2ND Hawkwind add: "It's a really exciting prospect to be back playing the London Palladium in February 2021. A little over 2 years ago we played 2 nights to a packed venue and, although it will be to a smaller crowd because of social distancing, it feels more important than ever to be out there, performing again. We only got to play one gig last year and, for those of us who have been gigging every year for decades, it's been hard. Creativity depends on a balance between rehearsing, recording and performing, all these elements depend on each other for the artistic process. Our new album Carnivorous was inspired by, and written during, lockdown and the show will highlight recent events with all the mind-blowing theatricality that you would expect from Hawkwind. The band that are known for predicting dystopian futures now arrive in Dystopia." Tickets start from £26.50 and can be purchased here. MIDGE URE ‘THE 1980 TOUR, VIENNA & VISAGE’ – FEBRUARY 3RD Midge Ure comments: “When our ‘1980 Tour’ was brought to an unceremonious close by Covid in March, it all felt very unresolved. Plans for the end of the Australian tour had to be cancelled or postponed and we did the last show in Adelaide, amidst fears we weren’t going to be able to get home.So we were absolutely delighted to be offered the opportunity to do one final (socially distanced!) show at the London Palladium on February 3rd 2021! Performing the entire Vienna album and selected highlights from Visage, Midge and Band Electronica will be supported by India Electric Company for this very special, post lockdown, experience!” Tickets start from £25.50 and can be purchased here.
