5SOS's Michael and Ashton share what they would be doing if they weren't in the band

During a recent interview with Shazam, Australian heartthrobs 5 Seconds Of Summer were asked what their other career plans were if they hadn't managed to make it in the music industry and drummer Ashton Irwin along with Michael Clifford gave fans some insight into this.

Irwin confessed that he would still like to be involved in music in some way if he wasn't touring and recording in a successful pop-punk group: "If I wasn't a musician I would be a music teacher... I wouldn't be doing much, really. I'd be... maybe a house painter?"

Michael Clifford then confessed that getting a salary for playing games would be his other dream job, outside of being in 5SOS: "I'd try to find some kind of job that would let me play games and get paid, but I don't know what the chances are of that."

Speaking about shooting to international levels of fame recently, 5SOS admitted that they never expected such a fantastic reception: "We're busy at the moment so we're just kind of taking it. We never expected to have this kind of response that we got."
