5 Seconds of Summer have received an MTV EMA nomination.

The awards ceremony is due to take place on November 9 at Glasgow's Hydro.

The nominees for the Best Australia Act have now been announced, with 5 Seconds of Summer, Iggy Azalea, Justice Crew and Sia in contention. 

A fifth nominee will soon be announced and fans can vote for who they think should be nominated. Sheppard, Jess Mauboy, 360 and Illy are the possible nominees.

The winner will then go in with a chance of winning the Worldwide Act EMA.
