Ariana Grande has admitted that she is taken aback by the levels of interest shown in her at the moment.

The US star is currently enjoying a boom in attention, with the singer's recent single 'Problem' becoming a worldwide smash.

The song was released ahead of Grande's new album 'My Everything' and the singer told People that whilst there has been an increase in interest, she doesn't want it to end.

Grande said: "There is so much attention on me that there wasn't before.

"I've been so overwhelmed. But I would love to never stop."

The singer meanwhile added that she likes to hit the beach to unwind:

"I love going to the beach really late at night. That is how I make sure I don't explode."
