Azealia Banks on new single: 'I don't like it'

Rapper Azealia Banks has confessed that she isn't a fan of her latest single, 'ATM Jam', and thinks it should have just stayed on the album rather than being released independently of it.

During a new interview with Complex magazine, she explained that Pharrell Williams got her excited about writing the song although now that it's in the public domain she doesn't like it:

"I'm over 'ATM Jam'. I get a call from Pharrell and he's likes, 'Hey I've got this record. I've got this song for Beyoncé and I really think you're the only one who can write it'."

"I was so excited so I went down - this is a completely different song - and I wrote a verse for this song. He also gave me this beat and was like, 'Do you think you can figure out something? Try and do something that's not for you'."

Banks added: "To be honest I didn't even like 'ATM Jam' when I wrote this version, it's just what I came up with."
