Mammy will open her door once again as All Round To Mrs Brown’s is set to return

The nation’s favourite Mammy will bring All Round to Mrs Brown’s back to BBC One for another six part series next year.

The first series saw Agnes and her family open their home to celebrity guests for The Cathy Brown Show in the middle of the mayhem of games, music, audience surprises and the efforts of Dermot and Buster to make a success of their celebrity tours. Chef Aly will be back cooking in the kitchen and we can expect Agnes' neighbour Winnie to drop in at any time.

Mrs Brown's Boys creator Brendan O'Carroll said "The whole family are thrilled with the reception the show has received on Saturday nights. Although our focus right now is on the Christmas Specials of our regular Mrs Brown's Boys show, we are excited that 2018 will see party time at the Brown's house again."

Charlotte Moore, Director of BBC Content said “All Round To Mrs Brown’s has been a huge hit for BBC One on Saturday nights. I am delighted Mrs Brown will be opening her home for a second series, with her unique blend of fun and mischief."

Alan Tyler, Commissioning Editor BBC Entertainment said “It’s rare to find a show that is so loved by the audience, but that is simply testament to the genius of Brendan’s creativity. With 'All Round to Mrs Brown’s’, Agnes, Cathy and the family threw open their doors and created one of the funniest entertainment shows on television. We cannot wait to see which guests grace Mammy’s sofa in the next series”.

Dan Baldwin, Managing Director of Hungry Bear said “We are absolutely delighted to be working with The Brown Family and the BBC again on All Round to Mrs Brown’s. Agnes Brown has the canny knack of saying the mischievous things we’re all thinking... but wouldn’t dare say”.

"I cannot wait to see who will be doing the dishes in Agnes' kitchen, being interviewed by Cathy and singing in Foley’s in series two!"

All Round To Mrs Brown’s is a BocPix Ltd/Hungry Bear Media joint production for BBC One. It was commissioned by Charlotte Moore, Director, BBC Content; Kate Phillips, Controller Entertainment Commissioning; and Alan Tyler, Commissioning Editor, BBC Entertainment. It will be executive produced by Dan Baldwin and Andy Price for Hungry Bear Media. The series producers will be Toby Brack for Hungry Bear Media and Fiona Gibney for BocPix.
