Ed Sheeran took part in some big name collaborations at this year's Grammys.

The awards ceremony took place at Los Angeles' Staples Center on Sunday (February 8).

Sheeran took to the stage to perform alongside John Mayer, Herbie Hancock and Questlove on a version of his track 'Thinking Out Loud'.

The Brit also performed alongside Jeff Lynne's ELO on their hit song 'Mr. Blue Sky'.

The singer-songwriter, however, left the Grammys empty handed.

He was nominated for a total of three gongs - including Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album - but failed to win any.
