Ellie Goulding's 'Love Me Like You Do' stays at No. 1 for a fourth week

Ellie Goulding is at the top of the UK singles chart for a fourth consecutive week with her ’50 Shades Of Grey’ soundtrack song ‘Love Me Like You Do’.

After setting a streaming record last week, ‘Love Me Like You Do’ has racked up 2.3 million plays over the past seven days and is still the most streamed track of the week.

The rest of this week’s Top Five remains unchanged from last week’s chart positions with Hozier’s ‘Take Me To Church’ at No. 2, ‘Uptown Funk’ by Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars at No. 3, ‘Earned It’ by The Weeknd – also from the  ‘50 Shades Of Grey’ OST - at No. 4, and Rhianna’s ‘FourFive Seconds’ featuring Kanye West and Paul McCartney at No. 5.

This week's highest chart entry comes from Kelly Clarkson with ‘Heartbeat Song’ debuting at No. 7.

Other new entries to the chart include ‘Something New’ by Axwell & Ingrosso at No. 22, and Madonna has returned to the Top 40 with ‘Living For Love’ at No. 26, four days after it went on sale.

Notable chart climbers include ‘What I Did For Love’ by David Guetta featuring vocals by Emeli Sande breaking into the Top Ten at No. 6 and a number of acts have profited from coverage at the BRIT awards earlier this week. Sam Smith’s ‘Lay Me Down’ has shot up 73 places to No. 15, Paloma Faith’s ‘Only Love Can Hurt Like This’ has rocketed 70 places to reach No. 32, and Ed Sheeran’s new track ‘Bloodstream’ has risen 154 places to No. 35.
