Ellie Goulding: "I can't really be shy anymore"

Ellie Goulding believes that she is now comfortable enough wearing revealing outfits.

The singer wasn't originally known for baring a lot of skin, but recent outfits have suggested a shift in attitude.

The 'Burn' star was pictured at London's G-A-Y venue this weekend sporting a black two-piece costume that left little to the imagination.

Speaking to The Sun, Goulding said that she almost feels like she "can't" be shy anymore, with regular trips to America opening her eyes in terms of body confidence. She said:

"I don't feel I have to cover up. I can wear a half-naked revealing dress now and people aren't surprised anymore."

Goulding added: "I don't think I have to have the perfect figure or the perfect face and people know that I know that. But I can't really be shy anymore, and everyone in America is naturally confident, it's a whole different world over there."

As previously reported, the British singer that she is going to start making the follow-up to 2012 album 'Halcyon' at the turn of the year.

She said: "I'm really going to start my new album in January; I'm going to knuckle down and try something new this time around."
