Little Mix hang onto their UK No.1 single position with 'Black Magic'

Girl group Little Mix are enjoying their second week at the top of the UK singles chart with new offering 'Black Magic'.

Today's charts positions have now been confirmed and the beauties remain at No.1 with their catchy single.

The Official Charts Company has revealed that this news means that "the quartet become the first girl group to top the charts for more than a single week in eight years; the last being Sugababes’ About You Now, which spent four weeks at the top in September/October 2007. The last all-female group to reach the summit prior to Little Mix was Icona Pop ft. Charli XCX’s I Love It, logging a single week at Number 1 in July 2013."

Elsewhere on the UK Top 40, Lost Frequencies’ former chart-topper 'Are You With Me' climbs back up a place to No.2, Years & Years’s 'Shine' drops one spot to No.3 this week, and John Newman's new single 'Come And Get It' debuts at No.5.

5 Seconds Of Summer have made an appearance at No.18 with new offering 'She's Kinda Hot', which secures them their fifth UK Top 20 hit, and Calvin Harris' 'How Deep Is Your Love' is at No.7.
