Little Mix's Brand New Reality Show Is Coming
Little Mix's brand new reality show, Little Mix: The Search, is coming soon.
Filming began in January 2020, with Jesy Nelson confirming the news after her NTAs win.
Since 2011, Perrie Edwards, Jesy, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall have not only established themselves as one of British music’s brightest acts, but as a global pop phenomenon.
With four multi-platinum selling albums, iconic hits including Wings, Move, Hair, Black Magic and Power, the number one-selling girl band have sold more than 45 million records worldwide and notched up a total of nine platinum-selling singles, surpassing a record previously only held by the Spice Girls.
Now, the talent show winners are set to turn into talent show scouts during their TV series in which they'll be looking out for incredibly talented singers to become members of all-female, all-male or mixed bands in a brand new entertainment series for BBC One.
Little Mix: The Search, made by ModestTV, will see the multi-award winning group creating bands and becoming mentors to a new wave of talent.
The singers who make it into new bands will live together and gain access to the girl’s inner circle who have contributed to their phenomenal success, including vocal coaches, song writers, producers and stylists.
The winning group will get the chance to join Little Mix on their UK summer tour this year.
Little Mix said: “We want to create lots of incredible groups who really gel. As we have been there and done it ourselves, we know what it takes to make a group successful, and will be there to mentor them every step of the way.
"We want solo artists to audition as well as groups and every type of genre is welcome too. It's going to be really exciting and people can apply right now!”
An exact date is TBC, but the seven-part series is scheduled to air on Saturday nights and is on its way.
