Little Mix singer Jade Thirlwall had a moment to forget on stage this weekend when a flying bug landed in her hair.

The girl group were performing an acoustic show in Phoenix on Sunday (August 9) when the incident happened.

Video footage shows Thirwall flapping around in an attempt to free herself from the bug.

Her three bandmates are also seen running about the stage scared.

The group posted on Twitter: "Cannot believe what just happened on stage..the biggest bug ever just burrowed itself into Jade's mane!!"

Little Mix are currently in the States promoting their new single 'Black Magic'.
