One Direction star Louis Tomlinson was on hand to greet a young football team this week in Doncaster.

The singer, who has a non-contract deal with Doncaster Rovers to raise money for charity, met the Worksop Town under 9s.

They were invited to visit Doncaster Rovers and Tomlinson was there to meet and greet the budding footballers.

Tomlinson attended the training ground to prepare for his Doncaster debut, which will take place on February 26.

He will turn out for their reserves side against Rotherham Reserves at the Keepmoat Stadium in an effort to raise money for children's hospice Bluebell Wood.
