One Direction in talks about upcoming 10th anniversary
One Direction are reportedly in talks about planning "something small" to mark their 10th anniversary on July 23.
Liam Payne sparked rumors recently about a reunion with his bandmates Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles and Niall Horan, when he confirmed that they had been "speaking together" ahead of their anniversary.
It's "unlikely" the lads will reunite in person given the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, but the band have been working on a TV documentary for a long time with James Corden's production company, Fulwell 73. The company co-produces The Late Late Show with James Corden with CBS Television Studios, so a special TV show might be the perfect way to commemorate the monumental occasion.
Appearing on a home version of the comedian's show via video this week, Payne teased: "I'm not allowed to say too much obviously because I would be giving it away.
"We've been speaking a lot more at the moment, I think we are all feeling that that 10-year... it's a very special moment.”
On July 23, it will be a decade since One Direction were formed on the UK reality singing competition, The X Factor, where the group eventually came third.
Details of how and when the reunion will take place are yet to be confirmed.
