Liam Payne has spoken out in praise of 5 Seconds of Summer's upcoming EP.

The Australian group are due to release their four-track 'She Looks So Perfect' EP on March 23 in the UK.

One Direction star Payne tweeted that he has heard all the songs and proclaimed that the effort is "sick".

He said: "Just heard the @5SOS EP and its SICCKKKKKKKKKK!! Make sure you get your hands on it and pre-orderrrrrrrr."

5 Seconds of Summer have supported One Direction on tour in the past and it seems they have a bright future ahead of them.

Speaking recently about the 'Midnight Memories' lads, they said:

"They're pretty much the same. I think that's what we like about them as a band, they're very real. They're all massive supporters of us and are always backstage watching us...good dudes."
