One Direction star Harry Styles showed off a new tattoo whilst on stage in Brazil.

The band were performing at the Parque Olímpico in Rio de Janeiro on Thursday (May 8) when fans got a little more than they bargained for.

Styles was seen taking down his trousers before revealing a brand new tattoo.

The ink is simply the name of the country 'Brazil' needled onto the top of his leg.

One Direction meanwhile are due to play twice in Sao Paolo on May 10 and 11 as they conclude the South America leg of their Where We Are tour.

The band will then travel to Europe to continue their tour.
