One Direction members travel separately over security fears

UK based boyband One Direction frequently travel all over the world, but they have revealed that they do so separately because they're concerned that if they travel together they might be targeted.

During a new interview with Britain's The Guardian newspaper, the lads were asked why five cars are used to bring them to various appointments or events and member Liam Payne explained that it's for security reasons as they don't feel safe being together on the road.

The heartthrob confessed that for peace of mind it's better if they're all driven individually: "I think that's more of a security thing than anything else. If we're spread out no one can target one car."

The lads, meanwhile, are due to perform live on 'The Graham Norton Show' early next month on December 5 and they will also sit down with the much loved TV host for an interview. The episode will air at 10.35pm on BBC One.
