X Factor producer Richard Holloway has suggested that Louis Tomlinson could be a potential X Factor judge.

The singer found fame on the TV talent show in 2010 when One Direction were formed from five solo contestants.

Tomlinson has been linked recently with working with X Factor boss Simon Cowell to find new talent.

The show's producer Richard Holloway told OK! that the singer is someone who Cowell respects.

He said: "Simon respects his opinion. Louis is keen on TV production.

“He would be good as a judge. We are looking at the format and the judges."

The judges on the 2014 X Factor were Cowell, Louis Walsh, Mel B and Cheryl.
